eBay Releases Earnings on Wednesday, Google, Yahoo to Follow

 eBay will release second-quarter 2008 earnings on July 16, 2008, and will host an earnings call with investors at 2:00 pm PT. The year has been turbulent for eBay, with a new CEO, the introduction of radical changes to feedback and policies, and boycotts by sellers and buyers. eBay's decision to make special deals with large retailers such as Buy.com led one analyst to predict, "Over the next few quarters, these deals may have the effect of replacing high-rent with low-rent tenants."
Google is scheduled to report Q2-2008 results on July 17, 2008, and Yahoo! Inc. is scheduled to report Q2-2008 results on July 22, 2008.
Amazon.com is scheduled to report Q2-2008 results on July 23, 2008.
