eBay UK announced it would introduce a 1-month warning period for sellers who breach the Seller Non-Performance (SNP) policy for the first time. Seller who breach the policy for a second time within six months of the warning will face account restriction or suspension.
eBay UK said it would also add a new feature to the Seller Dashboard called the Buyer Satisfaction Rating. The rating is made up of a number of weighted elements, including negative feedback, neutral feedback, low detailed seller ratings scores, and disputes that closed in favor of the buyer. The elements are taken as a percentage of a seller's overall transactions during the preceding 30 days to generate the Buyer Satisfaction Rating. Sellers who are rated as "Poor" or "Unacceptable" will be in breach of the Seller-Non Performance policy.
