Overstock.com named Doug Minnick its new Director of Auctions and is making a number of changes to its auction marketplace. It has launched a new homepage design on Overstock.com Auctions that highlights featured categories and sellers, and will launch its new discussion forums next week. The company also said in an announcement to users that it is working on some new site enhancements and coordinating its marketing efforts with its seller community to increase listings.
Overstock.com recently appointed Jonathan E. Johnson III as president of the company. Johnson joined Overstock in September 2002 and has been serving as the company's senior vice president, corporate affairs and legal.
