Paid Inc. has rolled out enhancements to its AuctionInc online shipping calculation technology, including international calculation capabilities. AuctionInc has added UPS International Services and DHL Worldwide Priority Express to its Global Module, and the ability to include UPS surcharges for "extended areas," country-specific limitations on package weight or dimensions, insurance, dimensional ratings, both daily and retail rates, and all of UPS' various surcharges.
AuctionInc also supports UPS' discounted "shipment pricing" which treats multiple packages to the same destination as a single package (rated on the total weight of all packages). It also accommodates the USPS new Large Flat Rate Box for Priority Mail, as well as other USPS flat rate packaging and weight/size based packages.
The company has also added shopping-cart security enhancement and coupon discounting. Vendors can set one or more threshold item totals that must be met for the discount to take effect.
