eBay UK to Launch New DSR Reports and Pay-Per-Click Ad Program

eBay UK said it would introduce new Detailed Seller Ratings (DSRs) reports in the Seller Dashboard beginning February 24, 2009. Sellers may use the reports to see which types of transactions particularly affect their DSRs. Improvements include: detailed DSR reports to help sellers identify which listings result in low or high DSRs; the addition of more reports specific to the Buyer Satisfaction Rating; and key information highlighted to make the Seller Dashboard easier to use. Detailed DSR reports can show transaction information based on Buyer location; Category; Date range; P&P (shipping & handling); and Item numbers.

eBay UK is also extending its pay-per-click advertising program to the UK. eBay AdCommerce launched in the US last year and allows eBay sellers to promote their listings and eBay Stores (Shops) via "sponsored results" ads on eBay search result pages.

eBay UK also told sellers that beginning in February, they would be able to change pricing on listings without having it negatively impact the Recent Sales algorithm in Best Match, and would be able to remove features from Good 'Til Cancelled Listings without having to end the listing first.
