Classifieds aggregator Oodle closed an additional $5.6M in funding from existing investors - Greylock Partners, Redpoint Ventures and JAFCO Ventures. Oodle aggregates classifieds from over 80,000 websites, including eBay's Kijiji and Craigslist, and hosts the classifieds of Walmart and MySpace.
Oodle CEO Craig Donato said traffic had more than tripled, reaching a milestone last month when it received more than 10M visits. Writing on his blog, Donato said, "Our mission, as always, is to find innovative ways to improve the experience of using online classifieds. And one of the best opportunities to do that is to make the experience more social. With our partnerships with MySpace and Facebook we're now poised to usher in a new generation of classifieds!"
