Reading AuctionBytes: Alibaba.com Partners with Jigsaw

Alibaba.com announced a strategic partnership with Jigsaw, a leading provider of business information and data services, to provide users with the ability to facilitate business connections worldwide. Alibaba.com will give its community of more than 36 million registered users access to Jigsaw, which contains more than 12 million business contacts and 2 million companies. Through this partnership, users will be able to identify and connect with targeted leads for business development, marketing and sales purposes. Similarly, Jigsaw's community of B2B professionals will be able to tap into revenue sources and business tools through Alibaba.com.

"Our goal is to make it easy for our customers to do business from any location," said Kelly Sang, general manager of Alibaba.com US. "With Jigsaw we are able to break down barriers for making business connections worldwide and provide the best resources to help entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized businesses grow strategically in a multi-national business environment."

Jigsaw is funded by Austin Ventures, El Dorado Ventures, and Norwest Venture Partners.
