Mac software developer iwascoding released a new version of its desktop client for eBay's PayPal service. GaragePay downloads all PayPal transaction data onto the user's Mac computer for fast and convenient access, and lets the user create Smart Folders to organize transactions. The new version displays account balances in all available currencies and automatically computes income and fees for users' pre-defined smart groups.
GaragePay 1.5 adds the ability for users to send money and refund transactions without logging into the PayPal website. Version 1.5 also displays additional information from previous versions: all balances of an account are shown in a sidebar, and some additional transaction information can be found on the right side of the main window about the payer, including business name, address state, phone number, and the net amount of the transaction.
GaragePay 1.5 is a free update for all owners of previous versions of GaragePay. A single-user license for GaragePay is available for $24.99.
