DealItLive.com is a new online auction site launching on May 6, 2009, in which sellers can auction items in real-time video broadcasts on the Internet. Buyers watch sellers demonstrating their products and can communicate with sellers via live chat. For example, if a seller is showcasing a phone, the buyer can ask the seller to turn the phone on, press buttons, or get different angles on the product. The "eBay meets YouTube" auction site is an Internet version of a home shopping channel.

Sellers must have a web cam, microphone and a PC in order to sell on DealItLive.com, which offers a variety of selling methods: Auction, Fixed Price, and Buy it Now. There are no minimum requirements for sellers, who pay DealItLive.com 5% commission fees on items that are sold.

The first show created by a seller is live. In cases where the item didn't get sold out, the seller may choose to put the recorded show on the "Re-Run/Re list" for up to a month, where buyers can view it on demand, and for which there is an extra charge. Buyers may subscribe to a seller's feed to be alerted whenever that seller does a new live show, according to DealItLive.com founder and President Sunny Melamed.

DealItLive.com does not facilitate the transaction between buyer and seller. Sellers have the option of accepting the following payments for their buyers using DealItLive.com Checkout: Authorize.net, PayPal and PayPal Direct Payments Pro. In the future, DealItLive.com will add Google Checkout and other processors or payment gateways that are requested by users.
