Etsy released sales and traffic data for the month of April 2009. The online marketplace for handmade and vintage goods sold $12.6 million worth of goods, roughly 5% higher than March's $12 million, and representing 786,825 items sold. There were 491,876,705 page views in April 2009, down 2 percent from the previous month and up 66 percent from April 2008.
