Etsy is hosting a workshop in conjunction with Global Goods Partners to support artisans in the developing world. Participants will learn the art of African friendship bracelet weaving from The Yarn Tree's Linda LaBelle, and hear a presentation on Fair Trade women's artisan cooperatives in Asia, Africa and the Americas. Proceeds support artisans in low-resource communities, funding much-needed education, health care, gender equality and income-generation projects. (Link )
Oztion is extending the duration of BuyNow Only listings from a maximum of 28 days to a maximum of 60 days. The Auto-Relist function will no longer be available on BuyNow Only listings after the changes take place since it automatically relists a listing during the free relist period, which is 60 days. The changes will be rolled out on July 21, 2009. (Link )
