eBay UK is giving eligible Shop owners 20% off their Final Value Fees when offering free domestic postage (P&P) on Music, Books, Video games and DVD, Film & TV categories. The move precedes a new policy that goes into effect on October 19, in which eBay UK will begin requiring sellers listing in selected media categories to offer free P&P as their first domestic postage option.
The seller promotion runs from August 20 - September 30, 2009, for owners of an eBay Shop on eBay.co.uk. Only items listed on eBay.co.uk using the Auction-style or Auction with Buy It Now option or Buy It Now (Fixed Price) formats are included. (See website for promotion details and restrictions.)
In addition, eBay UK announced another promotion that runs through the end of the year: business sellers on eBay.co.uk who list in the Tyres category offering multiple quantities in the same listing using the Fixed Price-style format on eBay.co.uk will receive 20% off their total Final Value Fees per item listed.
