eBay warned that sellers who opened a new UPS account through PayPal between August 8th and August 21st may receive an error message when attempting to print shipping labels. eBay said that while it has resolved the issue going forward, sellers who opened an account during that timeframe who are having problems will need to delete their UPS account and create a new one.
The announcement explains the steps to take and states, "Following the above steps will allow you to begin printing UPS shipping labels from PayPal and will ensure you receive your UPS Special Pricing for eBay sellers as early as possible. Again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience."
PayPal also recently experienced problems with its Paypal Multi-Order Shipping feature.
