ArtFire has rolled out a new coupon code system, calling it the first ever offered by a handmade venue. The system allows sellers to create customized special deals and promotions for buyers and distribute them via Twitter, email and blog widgets. ArtFire's coupon codes are fully customizable, so the seller has control over the type of promotion they wish to run. With this feature, sellers can do everything from setting a percentage or dollar amount off an order to arranging a free gift with select purchase.

Sellers can also build gift certificates for their storefront using the coupon code system, which will be especially useful during the holiday shopping season. ArtFire members can track the popularity of their coupon codes using statistical information in the coupon management panel to better improve their business.

ArtFire.com has over 30,000 individual sellers and storefronts around the world and launched in September 2008.
