Moneybookers, a leading European online-payments provider, was included in the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table, ranked at number six. The league table ranks Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies based on sales growth over the last three years.

Moneybookers has an annual transaction volume of over 3.5 billion euros. In 2008, revenue and profits doubled, making it one the fastest growing and most successful global payments companies in the world, with over nine million account holders.

The company was also highlighted as having the highest profit margin of all league table entrants. Moneybookers was the first e-money issuer in the UK to be licensed by the FSA. Over 45,000 merchants use Moneybookers, including global partners such as eBay.com, Skype and Thomas Cook.
