eBay Glitches in Search Visibility Tool, Item Condition
By Ina Steiner
EcommerceBytes.com
October 12, 2009

eBay turned off the "listing rank" feature in the new Search Visibility tool (available from the Seller Dashboard) due to a glitch. In some cases, the listing rank feature is incorrectly reporting the page and position in search results where sellers' listings appear. (This is the line in the report that looks like "Rank: Page 2 (position 28) of 238," for example.) (Link)

eBay also reported an issue with items listed in the Media - Records category defaulting to Acceptable as the Item Condition and said it was working to resolve it.
