Amazon.com is offering sellers an opportunity to earn up to $1,000 when they sign up for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA), the service where Amazon.com stores merchants' inventory in its own warehouses and packs and ships orders to their customers, whether the orders come from Amazon.com or any other channel.
With Amazon's FBA promotion, qualified merchants receive a one-time Merchant Shipping Rebate for the actual cost of their inbound shipments to an Amazon fulfillment center up to the amount earned. They will also receive a one-time Merchant Fee Rebate to apply to the actual cost of Fulfillment by Amazon fees incurred through the merchant's Amazon seller account between October 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009. Note that in addition to the fulfillment service provided, products available through FBA are eligible for Amazon's Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime, which give customers shipping discounts.
To qualify for the rebates, a merchant must sign up for the Fulfillment by Amazon service before December 31, 2009, and ship its first units to an Amazon fulfillment center between October 1, 2009, and December 31, 2009. Rebates are not retroactive and restrictions apply, see website for details.
