Sky News is reporting that the UK postal union workers and Royal Mail have agreed on a draft deal that could end the long-running strikes, according to its sources. The Royal Mail's website says the Communication Workers Union is planning to hold two further days of strike action on November 6 and 9 and has details of the national industrial action on this page, so stay tuned to that page to learn more.

Companies have been making alternative plans to cope with the postal disruptions that have retailers concerned as the holiday shopping season ramps up (link).
