Amazon.com's number of unique visitors for November 2009 was up 5.57% year-over-year to 60.89 million, while eBay's unique visitors dropped 7.72% year-over-year to 51.16 million. November was the third consecutive month that Amazon.com exceeded eBay in terms of uniques, according to data provided by Nielsen.

eBay continued to beat Amazon.com by a significant amount in monthly page views, which were up consecutively on both sites in October and November. However, eBay's page views for November were down 8.17% year-over year, while Amazon's page views were up 45% for November year-over-year.
eBay page views for November exceeded 9 million for the first time since March 2009; they had fallen below 8 million in May and June.

eBay's November traffic, both in terms of unique visitors and page views, were at a 5-year low when looking at November data only, having peaked in November 2006.
