Online marketplace Wigix has implemented a stricter seller verification process. Previously, sellers were required to have one financial verification: PayPal, credit card or a bank account. Beginning February 5th, sellers must also verify three additional verifications, choosing between five options: US Drivers License, US Social Security Number, Phone Number, eBay rating, or a Postal Address. Page owner, Category Expert, or recipients of other pay-outs will not be affected.
During the first 30 days of the new verification process, all sellers will still be able to open new sell orders. After the grace period, all sellers that have yet to verify will have their open sell orders disabled.
