eBay Canada told users it would begin testing the Best Match sort order on eBay.ca this week. It will apply some recent Best Match changes from eBay.com to the eBay.ca site in an effort to increase buyer activity.

eBay Canada's Best Match gives higher priority to items located in Canada, and one of the test variants will specifically exclude this special located-in-Canada "boost" factor. "This is solely so that we can better understand and measure the positive impact that the item location "boost" has on Canadian buyer behaviour," according to the announcement. The testing will continue through the end of March.
