Bonanzle recently conducted a survey of sellers and shared its initial impressions through a blog post. The top features on sellers' wish lists were multiple shopping carts, improvement to the item creation process, and ability to do bulk updates; not far behind on the list of desired features were improvements to the forum and community site.
Bonanzle said many respondents suggested better browsing options for buyers, making the offer process easier, and requests for more promotion of the site and traffic.
Most of the respondents had "sold lots of items," leading Bonanzle to believe that those who were inclined to take the survey were those most active on the site. The blog post stated that sellers sell for a variety of reasons, "ranging from extra cash to those who sell for their primary source of income."
Bonanzle said it had "lots of interesting things" in development to try to increase conversion rates on the site. "We're working feverishly on a number of projects to get you guys more sales. You’ll start seeing some of our efforts and tests very soon."
The company recently hired Blake Lucchesi as its new Front End Developer. His first project was to clean up the account registration page.
