Do you remember the first item you ever sold online? Let us know by sending an email to ina@auctionbytes.com and we may publish your story. Today, we hear from two sellers, Mike and Diana, who both got hooked after selling their first items online.
Owning a movie theatre I knew that people were fanatical about the Brad Pitt movie "Fight Club" so when I saw a first edition of the book for sale in a close out bin at a book store for .25 cents I snapped it up. It was the first thing I put "on eBay" and I was amazed when Fight Club and Chuck Palahniuk fans fought for the book and ran it up to 160.00! I was hooked. First rule about Fight Club: buy the book for a quarter.

I remember I sold a Native American bolo tie, turquoise and silver..I didn't even have a camera yet so therefore, no picture! I had no money and an old computer that didn't work very well. I was so excited and finally got a camera and really got into it, taught myself everything about computers, listing, pictures, ect. Now I can't imagine not doing it!
