morning, the third day of the eBay Live conference taking place in New Orleans. Jim

eBay Holds Annual
Shareholder's Meeting in New Orleans; Rejects Proposal to Expense Options
eBay's Board of Directors, executives, employees and shareholderes met at the Hilton
New Orleans Riverside for eBay's annual shareholders meeting. There were a number of
shareholders in attendance who were also eBay Powersellers, some of whom asked questions
after the meeting.

session held in the La Louisiane Ballroom. The conference theme "Leap into

Tiffany Sues eBay over Fakes
Reuters and Wall Street Journal report that Tiffany filed suit against eBay
"alleging that the Internet auction site should be held accountable for the sale of
counterfeit Tiffany jewelry through eBay." Tiffany said 73% of items purchased on
eBay in a study it conducted were counterfeit.
Auctionworks Changes Name to
Marketworks, Secures VC Funding, Expands
Auctionworks, an Atlanta-based online sales automation software developer ?
has changed its name to Marketworks, according to company officials. CEO - Alec Peters -
also announced that Marketworks has secured more than $3 million in a round of VC funding
- led by Crosslink Capital.

anger over the prohibition on firearms and the closing of live support boards. It began as
a set of general-topic meetings with groups of eBay users ? buyers, sellers and eBay
