1.JPG (8064 bytes) Make a score mark across the  length of the box with a razor blade.  Make sure you score both sides, and don't cut all the way through.
Cut the top flaps of the box down to meet your score mark. You WILL want to cut through on all sides. 2.JPG (9460 bytes)
3.JPG (7222 bytes) Trim 2-1/2" from the lower flaps. Only trim 2 of the 4 flaps. (alternating)
You should be left with 2 full-sized lower flaps and 2 flaps approximately 1-1/2" in length. 4.JPG (9691 bytes)
5.JPG (11581 bytes) Cut 3 of the 4 top flaps off at the original crease mark (about 3-1/2" from the edge)
Fold the lower flaps over - smaller flaps on the inside. 6.JPG (11090 bytes)
7.JPG (14472 bytes) Tape all seams.
Insert your item with plenty of padding on all sides (not shown)

Fold all of the top flaps over, folding the long flap over last.

9.JPG (14539 bytes) Tape all seams.
You should have a box approximately 7"Wx7"Lx4"H 10.JPG (11183 bytes)
11.JPG (6586 bytes) These are the pieces that you should be left with.  Trimming these pieces can save you considerable amounts at the Post Office!
