I just came across a posting that you might be interested in. There is a posting on getafreelancer.com where someone is basically hiring shill bidders and feedback manipulators for his business. $0.15 per feedback.

http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/marhber_458813.html

I'm curious how far this goes and who is ultimately behind it. He has lots of postings on the internet for other jobs like removing backgrounds from images and website development.

Interesting. I've added a note thereon to my section on "Verification of users" (or the lack thereof ...)

Could I also (again) ask anyone who has noted suspicious patterns of bidding in any auctions, that ended less than 90 days ago, to supply me, at formset@exemail.com.au, with the auction numbers and the ID of the suspect bidder.

The going rate for feedback is $0.01.

I've pulled the adverts, feedback and 'feedback for others' of members that are sselling feedback and put them on the website listed below after eBay took to deleting my posts after i pointed out the odd one or two case so here you go eBay what have you got to say about these few hundred cases.

http://www.ebuster.co.uk/SellingFeedBack/AllSellingFeedback.aspx

many of these are turbo-listers so eBay can not claim they don't know about it and if eBay does not take action then i will index the feedback and publish a list of the buyers and private adds won't protect them because i pull all the listings for these members before eBay has a chance to hide them.

it goes from bad to worse on eBay and i soon exspect to have a few 1000's more examples to show you all.
