> That issue related only to certain BIN sales
which happen to be 99% of what I sell. That's fine - I really don't care about words, show me in action that your company is serious about uptime and consistent service and I will be fanatical about promoting your company. |

How am I supposed to "apply a MyStoreCredit" if I receive an e-mail one week after the transaction has occurred?

Sun818,
I want to fix this problem and get everything working smoothly for you.
We need to get to the root cause of this problem relating to the emails that are apparently coming to you a week late. We are not seeing that with other auctions. I discussed your posting with our programmers and we would like to call you this morning to figure this one out with you.
Is there a number we can call you at? I'm sure you don't want to post it here publicly -- but you can send me a direct email at tab@mystorecredit.com and we'll call you.
I'm determined to get to solved this for you ASAP.

Hi I spoke with a customer service representative. The issue had to do with a recent user ID change I had to make which caused some older MyStoreCredits graphics to still be displayed. Apparently, the cause of the delay was that a MyStoreCredit staff had to hand edit each of the store credits from my older ID to synchronize with my newer ID. That caused the delay...
I needed to change my HTML when my user ID changed, but the thought of changing 800 live listings really was daunting. Now that I understand what the issue was, I don't blame MyStoreCredit for the situation - its entirely my laziness. |

Sun818,
It was very, very nice of you to take the time and post that clarification message! This kind of post really helps prove out MyStoreCredit's reputation and this thread actually helps show our commitment to servicing our sellers. For that, I'm grateful.
More importantly, I'm glad the issues are now fully resolved for you.
For anyone following the thread: Several weeks ago our customer service team found out we were not able to process some of Sun818's listings because of a username change. At that time, we asked Sun818 (that's not the ebay username) to update the user name and what HTML change to make on his auctions. Until the change was made, we were manually watching the auctions and processing his credits. The rest of Sun818's message finishes the story. Net/net: our service was operating as it should have.
Ultimately, I am delighted that we got to the bottom of this one.
Thanks again!

|
|
Hi,
I am new to this forum and have read some interesting posts to the board. I figure I will learn alot from it! My question is this: On this thread it says that the fee for mystorecredit.com is $7.95 a year. But right on the front page it clearly says it is $29.95. Was the $7.95 posted on this board a typo? I guess it did sound too good to be true. _________________ http://www.larrylupole.com/catalog |

|
|
Thanks for the question. In July, we first began to charge sellers for the MyStoreCredit service. At that time, we decided to provide an introductory price for all sellers who had been using our service before July and to extend that introductory price to new sellers for a few months. Our intention was to have a $29.95 annual price for our service, but we felt we wanted early users to get a special benefit.
Now that we have hundreds of sellers using our service, we felt the time was right to move to the $29.95 fee. Any seller who was in our 30 day trial period is "grandfathered" under the $7.95 fee.
