Wowsers! I am too old, as I remember buying ones just like these or very similar!!!

Look at the price and still 5 days to go... sheesh....

This was from an estate sale less than 5 miles from me.. guess I missed the boat... Never mess with the clothes much, might think twice now.

I am always amazed at the prices old jeans go for.

Me and a friend of mine scour all the thrift shops and Goodwills and all those places for Big E Levis! Jackets, jeans, overalls..etc etc...the Big E's go for a fortune! I've seen them go for over 6000.00 at times!

Yeah...the Big E is on the little tag that hangs off of the pocket on all Levis Jeans..you know...the little red piece that sits on the edge of the back pocket...newer Levis have a small E....it's spelled "Levi's" on the tag..but the older collectible ones that go for a fortune is spelled "LEvi's" so look for a capital E on that little red tag and you just hit gold! Let me see if I can find a picture of this tag for ya'all!

Ok....here's a pic of a new pair with the small "e" on the tag...see the little red tag hanging off the pocket??

that little "e" needs to be a capital "E"

kinda funny..that teeny little insignificant thing on a pair of jeans makes them worth a fortune! Even if you find a pair with HOLES galore on them and filthy...snag them..they go for a fortune too!

what DO these people do with these jeans?? For that price..they better be framing them!

Oh you better report back! I want to know there is hope in the world that there is a possibility I'LL find a pair too! Also look for the jackets and overalls..anything Levis you might say..as long as that big E is on that red label..it's worth a fortune!

I wonder if these people are wearing these jeans..and actually admit they paid that much for them!

No luck with the Levis. Actually they had very few jeans in the store.

However I did find a Bruce Hunt chrome Art Deco tray with red bakelite handles, a Kromex ice bucket, a 1955 Carnation cook book for children & the coolest Made in Denmark candle still in the box. It probably dates from the late 60's-early 70's, looks like wood & is in the shape of an long lean African woman.

There is always more to learn about what sells on eBay! I write a blog about going to garage sales and thrift stores to find things to sell, but I had no clue about these jeans! Thanks for the tip!!

aaahhh...Ms Donna you have been buried in that inventory for way too long girl

Blogs are the big buzz on the Internet now and used to be mainly on news or just people babbling about stuff........but now everyone who takes the web seriously is blogging away...........

basically, a blog is a webpage that you keep updated with current info....so many retail websites are now using blogs to post info on their latest additions, sales, promotions etc.

here is an "official" definition

Quote:
Blog
[a.k.a. blogger -or- blogrolling -or- weblog -or- Web log -or- blogosphere]
A blog is basically a journal that is available on the web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog.
Postings on a blog are almost always arranged in chronological order with the most recent additions featured most prominantly.

you can easily do your own blog too and many use this site
www.blogspot.com

soooooooooooo.....happy blogging

ohhh...thanks! Such a wierd word for a "journel" My guess is...blog is the plural for blurb??? a whole bunch of random blurbs creates a blog??

I need to see an example so I'll know what everyone is doing with these...are they just press releases or an actual journel..which I would be bad at..I've never even kept a diary when I was younger so writing a journel would be bad! so...Show me your Blog! hmmm...that sounded a tad perverted!
