Today's Critique My Site is IttyBittyBuddhaStore.com
http://www.ittybittybuddhastore.com
The AuctionBytes Critique My Site feature asks readers to visit an ecommerce website and make suggestions on how the merchant can increase sales. Readers can submit their own websites, too, by emailing the editor.
Website owner Harry Iwatsuki asks for marketing advice to increase his book sales. Details are found in the February 4, 2007 issue of AuctionBytes-Update:

The site looks like it may be a "ZenCart" OSCommerce derivitive which of course would be appropriate. The content is as expected and typical for such a site -- this is all good. The only think I would suggest is a little more "white space" (space between content and area margins or borders) to make the site more easily readable. Very nice job. _________________ [ MSMO | Free HTML Course | Web Design/SEO ]

I like your site, but I feel it is missing something. I just can't put my finger on it.
What I do like . . . is the search engine for your site. I want one for my site. Care to share you secret?

I can see that you're trying to cover a lot of information on your home page, but (as a first time visitor) I found it very crowded. Would it be possible to make your home page a bit more appealing by moving some of your information to other pages with links from your home page? _________________ Carol Hearn |
