Feedback on eBay has long been a bit of a joke after sellers were banned from saying anything to warn other sellers that the buyer was not to be trusted and eBay started to delete negative feedback without warning anyone.

now you see it
http://www.ebuster.co.uk/machushu200288/eBay%20Feedback%20Profile%20for%20machushu200288.htm
now you don't
http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=machushu200288&ftab=AllFeedback&myworld=true

but now it seems a whole new enterprise has opened up that will allow anyone to buy feedback for as little as 1cent a go and eBay, as usual is allowing these members to move from account to account without question and it’s not like eBay can claim they know nothing about it when half those members that are selling feedback are using

The problem is massive but fortunately it is quite easy to spot even after eBay has gone to grate lengths to hide the practice by not showing the item price in the buyers feedback and removing the description and price from the sellers feedback, never mind private feedback but you can spot this as often the buyer agrees to buy two whatever’s at the same time where the dates are a few days apart so that the both count toward points.

I have warned eBay about the problem and as soon as I try to warn members in the forum, I find the post is deleted. If only eBay was a quick at dealing with complaints as they are in covering up fraud then maybe they would be on the right track once again.

But since eBay are resolved to hiding the problem under the carpet I have put hundreds of obvious case online so that eBay members can see for themselves how big the problem has become and this not only includes adverts but also the sellers feedback and ‘Feedback left for others’ after 90 days.

Private listing will not protect those members that chose to buck the system as I also scan auction listings long before eBay has a chance to hide them so unless eBay changes the rules once again these people can consider themselves caught.

if your in a bit more of a rush and want a ready made eBay verified account and have a bit more money to spend then no problem, here you go.

Unrelated news.

I can confirm that the number of listing on eBay is gradually going up despite many sellers being annoyed about the new P&P rules be applied however the values of total goods listed is jumping all over the place and the reason is that on some days over £6bn (NOTE THE ‘B’) worth of property is being listed on eBay and that falls below £1bn on other days which leave only a few hundred million for everything else including cars.

You can find a detailed report at
http://www.ebuster.co.uk/CategoryData/CatsMainList.aspx
but do allow time for the reports to load as they quite detailed.

And finally I intended on publicising cases of what I call ‘wolf pack buyers’ where a group of buyer suddenly leave a load of negative feedback against a respectable sellers and then move on as a pack to pull the same stunt on another sellers so if you have been a victim of such an attack then please drop me a line.

Yes eBay together we can stamp out crime

Quite interesting. Even Science Daily is chiming in on this practice!

Thanks for that and i will link to it from my site

eBay just kicked me off the forum in response to
*fall*ing_leaves saying to me "if you read the post, you'll see he has the number already." i said "it is you that needs to read the post again"

so the mod gave me a seven day ban.

Don't take my word for it when i say *fall*ing_leaves is part of eBays PR department but if you look at her 'Me' page
http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/*fall*ing_leaves
then you can draw your own conclusions.

eBays forum is simply full of eBays PR department staff because so many people are making negative posts about eBay that they need to use it for damage control.

Yes we need mods but eBay mods are taking the pi$$
