|
|
In today's "Ask Nick" column in the AuctionBytes-Update newsletter, a reader asks Nick if there is a tool to help her isolate sellers' negative feedback so she can save time scrolling through their pages of feedback. Any comments? _________________ Ask Nick: nick@auctionbytes.com |

An aspect I go for also is the # of the person giving feedback. If a person has a 50 feedback or so and 4 or 5 negs from people with a one or two. (Usually with weird complaints. "Smelled like pickles" or "Shipped next day but took ten to get here" etc..., you know the comments)
Also theirs the time factor. Although you're under the same amount of risk, I feel much safer with a lower rated seller, who's been around a few years, then one with a higher rating whos been around a few months. So many variables, and I believe everyone has their levels of imprtance with each item.
Its funny. I feel most comfortable checking out an auction for a few days, but have the most fun when i find one with 5 minutes left, and I have to ask myself, "whats most important with feedback, Cause I gotta bid..."
hehe

|
|
I e-mailed Ebay several times, asking them to add
this feature, but it fell on deaf ears
I asked them to put a simple clickable
icon or link, that would show only neutral
or only negative comments.
This would be so very helpful when trying to
check a huge seller's neg & neut feedbacks,
because, depending on the size of the seller,
sometimes, it takes pages and pages to find
even the first one.
I am having my developers integrate this
into my website's auction script...
