Once upon a time when I was a very young girl (still am at heart) I lived in a very small town. There was a store called MOOMOO milk. This was milk that came in glass gallon jugs and I remember it as delicious.
One day MOOMOO and another company (I think this may of been a new fancy chain coming to town, not sure) Anyway this store and the little milk store got in a bidding war on selling milk.
It actually got down to 1 cent in price. Everyone in town was freezing milk like crazy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now I read this from search engine watch:

The Yahoo Search index is capturing the full text of web pages, up to a 500K limit. This is greater than the 101K maximum indexed by Google. A broad range of file types, including HTML, PDF, and Microsoft Office documents is also included in the mix
How big is Yahoo's index? They aren't saying, despite Google's announcement yesterday that it has expanded its index to nearly 4.3 billion documents (6 billion, if you count images and newsgroup postings, as Google does).

Interestingly, in almost all of my tests with random queries, Yahoo reports more results found than Google. Does this mean that Yahoo's index is bigger? Perhaps -- but reported results are estimates, not exact counts. They also can include factors other than keyword matches and so are notoriously unreliable measures of overall index size. Suffice to say that Yahoo's index is comparable to Google's for most queries.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We as dealers have to compete every day. Competition is the AMERICAN way! Sure wish I had some MOOMOO milk to go with these brownies. Just might see if I can find an old bottle from this company.
Thanks, Sandy

This competition between search engines is going to be a good thing I believe. I rank well on all 3 major engines and if you do a good clean site with good content you have nothing to fear. This is going to help all the "white hats".

Hello, you have to go to Google and under the tools find the Google toolbar. Yahoo has one too. You have to turn it on but be sure to turn it off after you check ranking or you will be getting ton of junk. Sandy

not only will you get junk if you keep the Google PR option on, but they will follow you around the web and you will get a tonload of spyware etc installed!
Best to check the PR and then turn it off real quick

The google toolbar can't do that if you run a good firewall which prevents the unauthorized downloading of material or uploading from your computer.

Only as long as you turn off the PR option........when you turn it "on" you get a notice that you are relinquishing some privacy, and if you keep it running continuously as you traverse the web, you will pick up stuff, as, by clicking "yes" when you check it on, you allow it access.

You can block toolbar access to your info, yet still keep it up, but not PR access if it is on.

At least this is what I found...

I still get better results from Google than Yahoo. I did a search for 'baseball cards 1954' and my store came up several times on the first page in Google. I could not be found on Yahoo in the first several pages and gave up looking further.
Regarding the Google tool bar, I use it and have had no problems. I do have Zone Alarm for the firewall, AdAware to get rid of sticky nuisance ads, and AVG for Virus protection. All three items are free unless you choose premier versions. Rachman

Rachman
do you have the Google PageRank meter option turned "on" for the toolbar?
That is the feature that I have found seems to be problematic in "picking up" stuff that is unwanted.
