eBay launched a local site in New Zealand and made an alliance with a New Zealand portal site, xtra.co.nz. eBay now has eBay.com (U.S.), eBay Australia, eBay Austria, eBay Canada, eBay France, eBay Germany, eBay Ireland, eBay Italy, eBay Japan, eBay Switzerland, and eBay United Kingdom. It also has a majority stake in Korea's largest online auction site.
