UK's eBid Grows with Elimination of Fees & Departure of Yahoo

eBid announced it has done away with fees. The UK auction site said free listings and zero sales commission across the board for eBid's UK auction community has dynamically expanded its customer base. In June, eBid did away with its final value fees (between 2% and 5% of the selling price); it had never charged insertion fees.

The company said its user base is growing at triple the previous rate and claims to be the largest and fastest growing free auction site in the UK. Some of the increase in site traffic may be attributed to the departure of Yahoo Auctions from Europe.

eBid is UK-specific. All transactions are conducted in Pounds Sterling. http://www.ebid.co.uk
